Has anyone used different payment methods with Australian ride-sharing services? I recently moved to Logan City and noticed that some apps freeze when searching for a driver. It’s also important to be able to pay by card because I sometimes leave my wallet at home and only take my phone with me. Which Australian services support the most convenient payment methods?

When I first moved to Ipswich, I had the same difficulties. I often returned late from training, and standard apps couldn’t find a car for 10–15 minutes. As a result, I started testing local services and payment methods. I came across a detailed review of Australia rideshare apps on the GetTransfer blog, which helped me figure out which apps work best in different areas. DiDi and Ola worked best for me in the suburbs because they found drivers faster in areas with low traffic. As for payment methods, almost all popular Australian apps support credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and balances.
