The thing you need to know is that the Instagram User in your DMs was a friend of yours. Instagram deleted all their details and replaced it by the generic Instagram User term if one of these four things happen.
1. Your friend has deactivated their account.
2. User has deleted their account.
3. User has blocked you.
4. Their account has been banned by Instagram for violating its terms and conditions.
